Beware, Stroke Often No Breakfast!


There are many things that are often used as a reason for someone not to breakfast. Starting from a short time, wake up late, or other things. In fact, often not breakfast can increase the risk of stroke, you know!

Recently a study published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology found that frequent breakfast did not increase the risk of stroke.

The study involved more than 4,000 adults who did not have a history of heart disease. The researchers then observed their breakfast habits, and divided the object into three groups based on breakfast habits.

The researcher then performs an ultrasound test and measures the participants' arteries to see the early signs of plaque on the blood vessels (atherosclerosis). And as a result, those who did not have breakfast had a greater risk of plaque buildup.

Research shows that people who skip breakfast have signs of plaque buildup in four of the six sites measured, including the right and left side of the neck, abdomen, and pelvis.

Researchers even found that breakfast, although only slightly, could reduce the risk of plaque buildup in the arteries by 21% lower.

Your neck artery is delivering blood flow to the brain, and when there is a buildup of plaque, it can cause a blockage. Blockage is what will increase the potential stroke.

People who do not breakfast will usually be easier to feel hungry and will 'take revenge' at lunch. They will usually consume a type of 'heavy' food, or even high fat.

Researchers say, eating habits like that will cause fat deposits in the body. The more excess fat, the greater the production of inflammatory compounds of the body, which can cause plaque buildup.

From now on, you should never miss breakfast. For breakfast is the most important meal of the day. So, when you have too little time for breakfast, eat even a little. Thus, the risk of stroke or other hazardous conditions can be avoided.
