For some people, breakfast is often missed by reason of not having time or fear of fat. In fact, breakfast is very important to improve the concentration and productivity of a person, especially in children before starting daily activities.

In order to be called 'healthy', breakfast must meet two main requirements that is done at the right time with the right nutritional composition as well. The right time for breakfast is before 9 am, after 10-12 hours of fasting.

This timing is tailored to the work culture that generally starts at 9 am. In essence, breakfast should be done before starting the activity.

The second requirement of a healthy breakfast is a proper and balanced nutritional composition between carbohydrates, fiber, protein, fat, vitamins and minerals and water, which can meet 15-30% of daily nutritional needs. Completeness of these nutrients, will support the metabolism needed by the body.

In order for the completeness of the nutrients are met, one must consume various types of healthy foods for breakfast. Common carbohydrate sources of rice can be varied with bread, potatoes, noodles, vermicelli, cereals, or oatmeal.

Protein sources can be eggs, fish, milk, yoghurt, beans, and cheese. While the source of healthy fats can be obtained from avocado or fried or pan-fried food processing.

Not only that, breakfast also provides energy to play and exercise. Therefore, children who do not breakfast at risk of impaired physical growth and mental development.

Skipping breakfast can make a person suffer from hypoglycemia, ie low blood sugar levels. The condition of hypoglycemia will reduce concentration, drowsiness, and fatigue quickly. Surely this will interfere with work productivity.
